Are you already in the industry and looking to move to the Cornwall or Devon area? An automotive mechanic interested in how your skills might transfer? Or, just interested in learning more about a rewarding career in transport refrigeration engineering? We would love to hear from you.
About the role...
A Transport Refrigeration Engineer carries out regular servicing and responds to breakdowns; diagnosing and repairing refrigeration units. This ensures that equipment is working as efficiently as possible, and is an important part of keeping the supply chain moving and, ultimately, food on your table!
In the life of our refrigeration engineers, no two days are the same and our engineers enjoy their varied work life. One day they might find themselves on a harbourside in Devon, carrying out repairs to a refrigerated truck unit used to transport crabs across the continent; the next day they could be servicing a container unit in Cornwall used to store the all-important ingredients used to make pasties at a local bakery, and the next day they could be at our workshop in Bodmin carrying out an air-conditioning service on a football team's coach!
