Each member of the team brings their own skills, experience, and personality to the job—so here’s a little about the people behind the service!
Tim Edwards
Managing Director
Tim began working in the transport refrigeration industry in 1987, gaining qualifications on Carrier, Thermoking, Frigoblock, Eberspacher and Heavac products. From humble beginnings back in 1999, after seeing a niche in the market, Tim set up CRTS Ltd, knowing that with his wealth of experience he could pursue his goals of providing a high quality service to his customers. Tim enjoys motorcycle enduros and having relaxing weekend cruises in his yellow VW camper van, Mr Brightside. |
Charlotte Powell
Operations Director
[email protected] Charlotte is responsible for the smooth running of our office, marketing and business development. She makes sure everything behind the scenes works like clockwork so our engineers can focus on keeping your fleet cool and moving. Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys canicross running in the beautiful Cornish countryside with her dog, Jax, and weekends away with her family in their campervan. |
Wayne Brown
Service Manager
[email protected] Wayne is our Service Manager and the key link between customers and our engineering team; making sure jobs are booked, schedules run smoothly, and everyone knows where they need to be. In his spare time, Wayne enjoys watching the football and spending time with his family. |
Louise Gill
Accounts Manager
[email protected] Louise manages all of our invoicing and accounting and has been with the Company since 2003. Outside of work, Louise enjoys travelling to places with warmer climates and often goes hiking in America with her Husband. |
Wayne Daniel
Senior Technical Engineer
Our longest serving engineer, Wayne joined CRTS in 2000, back when it was just him and Tim, his Brother-in-Law. Wayne is a fountain of knowledge on all things refrigerated and, as Senior Technical Engineer, imparts this wisdom onto our engineering and office teams. Wayne spends his leisure time restoring his VW camper van and competing in motorsport events. |
Chris Parsons
Senior Engineer
Chris joined the team in 2013 after moving down from Hertfordshire where he was an automotive electrician. As senior engineer, Chris supports our engineering team and office with all things refrigeration, assisting in the day to day operations of the business. Outside of work he enjoys football, surfing and watching live music. |
Tony Harvey
Engineer
Tony joined the company in 2012 after a career in the RAF where he was an aircraft technician. In his spare time Tony enjoys riding his motorbike and playing cricket. |
Julian Reep
Engineer
Julian has been part of the team since 2013, supporting our customers in the Devon area. In his spare time Julian enjoys restoring motorbikes, playing golf and watching football. |
Paul Darby
Engineer
Paul rejoined the team in 2024 as a refrigeration engineer, with When not fixing fridges he can usually be found riding his Mountain Bike or building Lego with his Sons! |
Ben Black
Engineer
Ben joined the team in July 2021 as our dedicated bodywork technician, but decided to move across to the world of fridges in 2024. He is now a fully fledged refrigeration engineer. In his spare time Ben enjoys mountain biking with Paul! |
Jake SalterEngineer
Jake joined our team in October 2025 and brings a wealth of experience in transport refrigeration. Based in Devon, Jake is perfectly placed to support our customers in this area, providing a fast, reliable service. In his spare time Jake enjoys playing PC games and working on cars. |
Tom PowellTrainee Engineer
Tom joined the team in September 2025, with a background in mechanics. Outside of work, Tom competes in offroad motorbike and sidecar events and enjoys collecting classic vehicles. |
Millie DanielBodywork Co-Ordinator
[email protected] Millie joined the office team in December 2020 to manage the body work side of the business and assist her colleagues with the smooth running of the office. Outside of work, Millie enjoys cooking (with varied success! by her own admission), crafting and watching live music with her friends and family. |
