F Gas Record Keeping Requirements

As from 1st Janary 2015 regulations concerning the usage of Fluorinated refrigerant gases encompassed the transport refrigeration industry.

The regulations make it a necessity for the contractor and owner to record specific information whenever refrigerant has to be recovered, added or removed and for  each vehicle/ trailer over 3.5 tonne gross weight to have an annual leak test. Records of compliance must be kept for a minimum of 5 years.
